Our internal database.
Star Personnel Recruitment has it’s own database, built exclusively for our internal use. With around 25 000 registered candidates, it is designed to allow us to leverage on these contacts (and in turn their contacts) to find candidates who are only passively searching for jobs. In today’s market, the best candidates are not spending their time looking for jobs on Job Boards – if this is the only place you are looking, you are no doubt missing out on the best candidates.
Our consultants are rewarded for success.
It might surprise you to find out that many recruitment firms reward their consultants based on the number of CVs they send out and the number of candidates their clients agree to interview. This leads to a situation where the consultants are more concerned with the quantity of send outs rather than with the quality of the match. At Star Personnel our consultants are only rewarded for their successful placements – allowing them to focus on doing the job right first time.
Quality of our Consultants
Star Personnel’s consultants are well versed in the areas they service. As much as possible, we hire consultants who have worked in and had experience in the areas in which they recruit. In this way, they understand not only the skills needed to do the job, but also the types of personalities who work well in the role. Many of our consultants have been with us for 15 years or more. We pay one of the highest commissions in the industry to make sure you are getting the best service possible.
The quality of the recruitment agency you hire is the first impression the candidate is going to have of your Company and first impressions count. You don’t want your candidates interviewed by your recruiter in coffee shops or in a home office. Star Personnel has professional corporate offices where candidates are welcomed and made to feel comfortable. Each consultant works and conducts interviews in a private office (no open plan offices) so the candidates can feel comfortable about the confidentiality of the interview. Although we obviously don’t place every candidate we interact with, we strive to make every encounter with a candidate one to be remembered and rewarding – it’s your reputation on the line.
We don’t retype CVs.
The way a candidate presents his or her CV says a lot about the candidate, their attention to detail and how seriously they take the jobseeking process. You can tell a lot about a candidate from their CV and we believe it is unfair on you the client as well as the candidate if we make all the CVs look alike. Furthermore, some candidates are happy to offer information in their CVs that according to the Labour Relations Act, we are not allowed to ask. For this reason, Star Personnel will send you the original CV as presented by the candidate. If you would like the CVs all in a specific format, you are welcome to ask.
Our pricing structure.
Although competitive, Star Personnel’s fees are slightly higher than many of our Competitors. We believe that the quality of our service more than makes up for the difference. Having said this, we try to work with our clients and prospects to find a fee structure that will work for you the client, still keep us in business and make sure to motivate the consultant to give your assignment his or her full attention.
