Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Ref: 105)

London.  Our client is a private, dedicated Occupational Therapy service focused on providing high-quality assessments and interventions to children. The clinic specializes in helping children and young people aged 0 to 18 with physical, developmental, social communication, and other specific difficulties engage in meaningful occupations. Sensory integration is a core part of their practice.

This private clinic is keen to have a South African person with Sensory Integration experience on-board.

Working hours: Tuesday to Saturday

– or 2-3 weekdays plus Saturday

Or just Saturdays

-Annual Leave: 28 days (including bank holidays)

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Our client will assist with HCPC registration

Certificate or formal training in sensory integration – Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in occupational therapy, within paediatrics.

Training and Development:

– Six-week on-boarding program

– Two-year sensory integration training program

– Sensory integration training by the Clinic Director

 

Key Responsibilities:

– Manage a caseload of at least 20 clients

– Provide home and school recommendations and implement interventions

– Communicate therapy plans and progress to parents and professionals

– Deliver online therapy sessions for clients who cannot attend in person

– Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

– Participate in multidisciplinary meetings

Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist or Team Lead (Ref: 105)

London.  Our client is a private, dedicated Occupational Therapy service focused on providing high-quality assessments and interventions to children. The clinic specializes in helping children and young people aged 0 to 18 with physical, developmental, social communication, and other specific difficulties engage in meaningful occupations. Sensory integration is a core part of their practice.

This private clinic is keen to have a South African person with Sensory Integration experience on-board.

Working hours: Monday to Friday (option for Tuesday to Saturday available)

– Monday to Friday: 09:30 AM–6:00 PM

– Saturday: 09:00 AM–4:00 PM

-Annual Leave: 28 days (including bank holidays)

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Our client will assist with HCPC registration

Certificate or formal training in sensory integration (advanced practitioners preferred SI 1-3)

– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in occupational therapy, with at least 2 years in a

paediatric setting

– Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role is highly desirable

Training and Development:

– Six-week on-boarding program

– Two-year sensory integration training program

– Sensory integration training by the Clinic Director

– Opportunities to supervise, train, and mentor junior OTs and clinical placements

 

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead and supervise a team of Occupational Therapists

– Manage a caseload of 12-15 clients

– Ensure the quality of assessments, interventions, and progress for clients

– Deliver home and school recommendations and implement interventions

– Communicate therapy plans and progress to parents and professionals

– Conduct online therapy sessions for clients who cannot attend in person

– Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

– Participate in strategic service development and contribute to clinic goals

– Provide clinical supervision and professional development to OTs

– Design and implement specialist intervention programs for clients with complex needs
