We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietician to join our client’s product development team, focusing on the creation of nutritional products tailored to meet specific dietary needs. The incumbent will ensure that the products align with the highest health standards and support overall well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Registered Dietician (RD) or Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN) certification required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a dietician, preferably with experience in product development, clinical nutrition, or nutritional research.
  • Prior experience working in food, beverage, or supplement industries is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Nutritional Expertise:

  • Work closely with the R&D and product development teams to help formulate and refine new products that address specific dietary requirements.
  • Provide expert nutritional guidance to ensure all products meet targeted health benefits, including ingredient selection and portion sizing.

Clinical Support:

  • Offer insights on clinical nutrition and the management of specific health conditions, ensuring products are developed to support targeted nutritional goals.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials that communicate the nutritional value of products to consumers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Support clinical trials or studies related to product efficacy as needed.

Compliance & Regulatory Guidance:

  • Ensure all products comply with relevant food and supplement regulations.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Partner with marketing, sales, and education teams to simplify complex nutritional information for various audiences, from consumers to health professionals.

Continuous Learning & Development:

  • Stay informed on the latest trends and research in nutrition, food science, and related fields.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of clinical nutrition and dietary requirements for managing various health conditions.
  • Ability to analyze scientific research and apply it to product formulations.

Purpose of the Role

This position is responsible for project acquisition (winning work), project management, financial management, delivery and technical execution of transmission & distribution projects including the management of staff within the group to ensure full utilization and achievement of milestones in the Johannesburg.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market development and proactive approach in developing work in the Renewable

Energy, and Transmission & Distribution markets and being aware of what projects

are likely to come up from clients – generating repeat business.

  • Develop business strategies for the function in the Gauteng in conjunction with the

Functional Group’s Business Plan and objectives.

  • Develop and maintain existing key client relationships, maintain client satisfaction.

  • Win and deliver projects for the function with assistance of the National Power and

Energy team.
