Extremely successful software development company based in Northern Suburbs is looking for a Desktop Support Technician. The primary function of the job is visiting clients, installing their application and training the users on the product.   This job also includes some client support (telephonic and remote takeover etc) as well as support for the company's own network.

The job primarily involves visiting clients and installing the company’s proprietary software. You will need to have advanced MS Windows skills (installing software, hardware – printers, scanners etc, setting up ADSL etc) and be able to troubleshoot problems. A basic knowledge of SQL will be an advantage. You will be required to train the users on the system – so your ability to work with people of all technical levels and transfer knowledge is essential.   Patience, clear communication (Afrikaans and English), Service Orientation, Thoroughness etc, must be second nature.
A part of this job also includes support for existing customers as well as for the company’s internal network.

You need:
Matric (with Maths - not Maths Literacy).
1+ year IT diploma.
Afrikaans first language.
fluent in English (written and verbal).
Valid drivers license.  (Own Car).
People's person.  (Polite, respectful, well spoken).
3+ years working experience in a similar role.
