 Maintenance Coordinator

Our client, a dynamic software solutions firm, is looking to fill a role that will perform as the middle man between the maintenance and support team, the client and the business. It will involve close relationships with software users, technical leads, software developers, business analysts, system administrators, technical support and product owners. 

Description

This role is vital to the success of the application support team and will involve the following responsibilities:

-          Coordinating and leading a team

-          Scrum boards and reporting

-          Customer feedback

-          Client liaison

-          Managing the team’s efforts to meet agreed outputs

-          Overseeing the release management process

-          Completing documentation regarding release management and functional deployment notes

-          Overseeing technical deployment instructions

-          Ensuring the quality of products prior to release

-          Understand the purpose of products and critical use periods in order to assist the team in prioritising

-          Driving continuous improvement initiatives

-          Personal development reviews

Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate for this role will tick the following technical skills boxes:

-          Bachelor’s degree

-          Experience or training in Scrum or Agile methodologies

-          Understanding of the software implementation life cycle

-          Knowledge of industry standard methodologies

-          Experience in change and release management

-          Exposure to the technical side of software development would be advantageous
