Digital Operations and Analytics Specialist (Ref 117)

About this job

Main Purpose: 

Based in Cape Town you will be responsible for the implementation, execution and continuous optimization of all the Group’s Digital Marketing Strategies and Channels.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience: 

·         Relevant Commercial/Marketing Degree

·         Digital Marketing qualification

·         4+ years in a Digital/e-commerce role

·         Exposure to Digital and Customer analytics

·         Expert knowledge of the marketing environment in South Africa & Africa

·         Advanced Microsoft Office user

·         Solution-orientated with strong analytical, strategic and creative problem solving skills

·         Retail or Financial Services experience

·         Experience in effectively managing agencies and vendors

·         People management experience (preferred)

·         Business acumen and commercial awareness

·         Expert attention to detail – high quality and accuracy of output

·         Deadline driven and ability to work under pressure

·         Creative ability to develop and optimize Digital strategies

·         Ability to excel in a fast paced changing environment

·         Strong communication skills and ability to interact at all levels

·         Ability to influence and persuade

·         Team player with a make-it-possible attitude



Duties

  Key Responsibilities: 

·         Responsible for all digital reporting and analytics

·         Deliver digital analysis, insight and actionable recommendations that help shape the digital user experience across digital assets

·         Manage enhancement requirements and BAU changes to the all websites

·         Collaborate with IT specialists to monitor, improve and update the performance of the digital channels

·         Manage service level agreements with key stakehoders

·         Manage Digital Marketing and Analytics toolsets, e.g.  Google Tag Mgr, Web Trends, Double Click, etc

·         Keep abreast of new technologies and ensure that the company is at the forefront of developments within the Digital Marketing industry

·         Partner with Digital Marketing Agencies to deliver intelligence on various program elements including, but not limited to: SEM campaigns, online campaigns and other online initiatives.

·         Manage vendor relationships to ensure all outsourced efforts are high quality, cost effective and brand compliant

·         Internal and external stakeholder relationship management
